  • star rating  If You Go To Prague And Visit An Irish Pub Make It This One. - The James Joyce is a superb Irish pub that offers an excellent range of food and drink and is without a doubt one of the best Irish pubs in Prague.This... read more fantastic Irish pub is in a superb area of the old town on a brilliant street called U Obecního Dvora.
There is a really fascinating fact about the old James Joyce Irish pub was that in 1993 at 17.59 on the 5th of November the 1st pint of Guinness was poured in this magnificent country and over the years there has been many famous people dropping in here and the old James Joyce Irish pub.
This pub has a traditional Irish pub interior with many interesting fixtures and features that relates to Ireland throughout the pubs interior and superb seating options.Theres an excellent atmosphere in here especially if they are showing live sport or hosting live music.
We visited in the night and it was very busy but we managed to get a table in the main bar room. This was our first time to this Irish pub in a few year's and it's as good now as it was the first time we visited years ago.On our visit we had a Guinness and a few local Czech beers. All the beers we had were top notch and were price wise on a par with all the other Irish pubs we visited in Prague.
A superb Irish pub in a fantastic area thats well worth visiting if your in the old town of Prague.(This is my first review of the James Joyce Irish pub).
